In Arizona, providing abortion care has never been simple. For years, independent clinics like ours have operated under an ever-shifting web of medically unnecessary regulations, so-called TRAP laws, that do nothing to protect patients and everything to obstruct access. While we continue to challenge these restrictions in court, day-to-day realities remain: our staff face increased harassment, our patients travel long distances, and our facilities must constantly adapt to meet new safety and security demands.
That is why ACN’s commitment matters so deeply. Their mission, to sustain and strengthen independent abortion providers nationwide, goes beyond financial support. It is an affirmation of trust, solidarity, and the shared belief that abortion care is essential healthcare.
