They’re Coming for More Than Abortion: The Extremist Agenda Hurting Us All
What happens when a vocal minority with outdated views gains political power? If recent trends in abortion restrictions and attacks on personal freedoms are any indication, they don’t stop at just one issue—they come for everything.
At Choices Women’s Center, we’ve seen firsthand how anti-abortion extremists operate. Now, they’re expanding their agenda, and if left unchecked, they will target the rights that matter most deeply to you, whether or not you think of yourself as political.
Their Agenda Is Growing Fast
Anti-abortion organizations aren’t just trying to ban abortion. At recent conferences and in political strategy documents, they’ve made it clear:
• ✅ Anti-Trans Messaging
They want to control how you identify, how you parent, and what support and medical care trans youth can access.
• ✅ Anti-IVF Rhetoric
They’re questioning whether fertility treatments like IVF are “moral”, despite helping millions of families have children.
• ✅ Abstinence Campaigns/Anti-Contraception Campaigns
They want to replace comprehensive sex and contraception education with abstinence-only messaging, ignoring science, public health, and young people’s realities.
These policies aren’t about health. They’re about control
This Is What Extremism Looks Like
Let’s be clear: these groups do not represent the majority of Americans.
Poll after poll shows:
• Over 60% of Americans support legal abortion in most or all cases
• Majorities support access to birth control, gender-affirming care, IVF, and inclusive sex education
And yet, a vocal minority is using deceptive clinics, misinformation, and policy manipulation to force their views on the rest of us.
This is not how democracy is supposed to work. In a democracy, the majority rules, not the loudest fringe.
Why It Matters to You, Even If You’re Not “Political”
At CWC, we believe in personal freedom, evidence-based care, and respecting each person’s decisions. We are not here to preach. We are here to protect your autonomy, your privacy, and your right to decide what’s best for your body and your life.
And we’re not alone:
• Gen Z and Millennials are voting in record numbers.
• Suburban women are organizing, running for office, and winning.
• Even in conservative states, voters are approving ballot initiatives to protecting abortion rights; because people are done being silenced.
